Local Supplier Procurement
All University procurement is conducted in accordance with the Government Procurement Act and NUTN's procurement guidelines. Where domestic suppliers are capable of fulfilling project requirements, priority is given to their participation in bidding. Local procurement shortens supply distances, reduces carbon emissions and procurement costs, and strengthens the competitiveness of domestic talent and supply chains.

ESG Supplier Management
NUTN incorporates ESG considerations into supplier-selection criteria during procurement planning. In 2025, all five procurements above the public-announcement threshold that used the most advantageous tender method included corporate social responsibility (CSR) criteria in their evaluations. The University expects suppliers to progressively integrate ESG governance into their own management structures.
