Campus Security Center and Campus Security Services

The Campus Security Center operates a Category A 24-hour duty system throughout the year and maintains an emergency hotline at +886-6-2133112. Standardized emergency response procedures follow a reporting, response, and care mechanism that links campus security personnel, academic advisors, counselors, and other units to ensure continued support for affected students. Campus security services also provide round-the-clock access control, patrols, and immediate reporting of unusual incidents.

Off-campus Housing Visits

Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Education

NUTN conducts a fire drill every six months to reinforce self-defense fire teams and clarify responsibilities for reporting, firefighting, evacuation guidance, and first aid. Disaster evacuation drills are also held each semester for all residents, simulating fires, earthquakes, and air-raid emergencies to strengthen the preparedness of faculty, staff, and students.

Faculty and Staff Health Promotion

In accordance with occupational safety and health legislation and labor health protection regulations, NUTN provides health examinations for newly hired and current personnel. Employees with abnormal results receive consultations and follow-up management from occupational medicine specialists. The University has installed AEDs across campus, promotes first-aid training, and organizes healthy eating and fitness activities to support the physical and mental well-being of faculty and staff.

Mental Health Literacy Promotion

NUTN is committed to supporting students' mental health throughout their studies. Each academic year, the University offers mental health lectures, thematic workshops, group counseling, and class-based guidance, equipping students with the knowledge and skills needed to manage stress, solve problems, and build healthy lifestyles within a positive and supportive campus environment.
