Gender Equity Education Committee
NUTN established the Gender Equity Education Committee in Academic Year 2005. Chaired by the president, the committee meets at least once each semester and convenes special meetings when necessary. It integrates resources across University units, formulates gender equity education plans, organizes related activities and courses, investigates and handles campus gender-related incidents, and oversees the planning of safe and inclusive campus spaces.

Support for Students with Disabilities
To create an inclusive, supportive, and reassuring campus environment, the Resource Classroom provides individualized support plans, regular outreach, assistance personnel, examination accommodations, and other forms of guidance, helping students with disabilities realize their potential and participate fully in University life.

Support Mechanisms for Indigenous Students
In 2020, NUTN established an Indigenous Student Resource Center through a Ministry of Education initiative. The Center serves as the primary contact point for Indigenous students and coordinates horizontal collaboration among University units. It provides academic, career, life-planning, and daily-living support, promotes Indigenous cultures and education, and advises Indigenous student organizations to strengthen community ties and cultural identity.
Support Mechanisms for Disadvantaged Students
Since 2018, NUTN has supported economically and culturally disadvantaged students through three strategies: expanding admission opportunities, encouraging applications, and promoting admissions accommodations and financial aid. Nine diversified financial-support, guidance, and empowerment programs embody the principle of replacing part-time work with learning, enabling students to study with confidence, develop their potential, and advance social mobility through education.
